This form is used by someone who wishes to apply for a deferral of payment of court fees. Before you complete the form you should check whether you are eligible for an exemption of fees.
For approval for a fee to be deferred you will need to satisfy the Court that you meet certain criteria including:
- Whether the filing of the document is so urgent that it overrides the requirement to pay the filing fee at the time of filing.
- Your financial circumstances and whether it would be unreasonable to require immediate payment of the fee.
If your application for deferral is successful the full fee must be paid within 28 days from the date of the deferral or any other period specific by the Court.
